Update

Here are a few things worth mentioning since my last post:

*I had my second caudal steroid injection last Friday. It wasn't nearly as painful as the first one, but it still hurt like hell. The good news is that I seem to be feeling better from these barbaric procedures.

*Maggie bought Monster last week and we had a chance to watch it again this weekend. Charlize Theron was incredible in the movie and I'm glad she won at the Oscars.

*Jason, Maggie and I went to see The Stepford Wives over the weekend. I found the movie highly enjoyable although it wasn't what I expected. I thought it was going to be more of a sci-fi/horror movie but it turned out to be more of a comedy. I really need to see the original now.

*I saw the trailer for the new Michael Moore movie, Fahrenheit 9/11. I can't wait until it's in theatres.

*6th Street, one of the main streets in Lawrence, is under construction at the moment. The other night as I was driving along and I hit a pothole so big, a hubcap flew right off of my car and bounced higher than the roof of my car. I seriously thought I was going to die; it was that big of a hole. I went back for the hubcap, but it was nowhere to be found. Take my advice, if you are in Lawrence; avoid 6th Street at all costs.

*I had an interview two weeks ago where I actually got dressed up with a tie and everything. I thought the interview went well and the interviewer seemed to like me a lot. He said he'd call me in a week to set up a second interview. Last week I got an e-mail from this guy and he informed me that they were not hiring at the moment. He then wished me luck in my job search. What the hell was that all about? Not hiring? Then why advertise the position and interview for it?

Song of the weekend:
"Take Me Out" - Franz Ferdinand
