Here's To Another Goddamn New Year
It’s the end of the year and I’m happy to see it go. While it’s had a lot of great and enjoyable moments for me, 2004 has mostly been filled with too much physical pain and stress. Needles in my back, hospital stays, M.R.I.s, insurance, unemployment and disability issues, lots of medication and reoccurring strep throat; I can’t take another year like this.
I’m looking forward to 2005 for a lot of reasons but here are the big ones:

I’m looking forward to 2005 for a lot of reasons but here are the big ones:
- Maggie and I are moving to California in February and we’ll be able to spend time with my family and friends.
- My doctor has told me that I won’t need back surgery. As soon as I can get my muscles up to speed I can start working again.
- This also means that Maggie and I can now start working on getting a place of our own and living a more “normal” life.
