All That Fine, Fine Music
Sometimes I forget that not everyone is as into music as I am. Here's what I'm talking about:
Maggie and I were walking through the mall the other day and stopped to look at some vendor booth set up in the middle of the walkway. The employee, who must have been in his late teens or early twenties, took a long hard look at the Velvet Underground t-shirt I was wearing.
"Velvet Underground....hmmmm....I know Velvet Revolver....does it have something to do with them?"
I don't know why, but I have a hard time understanding how someone could never even have heard of the Velvet Underground. What are they teaching kids in school these days?
