Money....That's What I Want
It's amazing how being broke and unemployed really makes you lose all interest in things that don't involve making money. Things like this blog for example.
Lately, I feel like all I've been doing is looking at the want ads, sending out resumes, applying to any job that I might be partially qualified for, selling my stuff on eBay, looking into new career goals and even interviewing with temp agencies. The whole while trying to make my unemployment checks stretch to cover gas, smokes, coffee, faxes, clothes and everything else a person may need while looking for work and trying to survive.
I've sent out close to 90 resumes and I've only gotten three rejection letters. I've had two interviews and got a "Maybe later" and a "We don't have anything for you right now". It's really frustrating.
I guess the point to all of this is that it sucks being unemployed but it sucks more looking for work.
I really can't wait to be working again.
